That is all I have to share with you today. Thanks for stopping by and make sure you pop over to the Online Store and have a look at some of the new goodies.
What a huge lead up to teaching at the Brisbane Scrapbooking Expo, and getting everything ready for my class and tutor display.
I had such a fabulous time catching up with old friends, meeting new friends, laughing, having the odd class of wine with dinner, and teaching some very talented students.
I want to say a huge thanks to Scrapmatts for sponsoring me and creating some fabulous chipboard pieces for my class. I was also lucky enough to share my classroom with two other talented ladies; Sonia Thomason and Crece Thomas. Both these ladies were of huge help in the classroom during my class especially when I had lost my voice on the second day. Yes you read it...I got my self a little run down in the lead up and I woke up day 2 and my voice had gone. I was very grateful for all the support and understanding I received from those taking my class. I was just pleased that I managed to have some good step by step instructions written which helped tremendously.
Now to share my layout that I taught....My class had many different techniques on how to create texture and color for your background, heat emboss chipboard to make it look like metal embellishments and to make the most of your products and papers.
Another highlight of the weekend was doing up my tutors display. Here a few pics of my display.
We also had inspiration up on the classroom walls
It was just wonderful meeting many other talented ladies that I had known by name and in the cyber world but lucky enough to meet them in person at the expo. Here is a photo of me and two other Scrapbooking Memories Masters for 2015
After all the hard work in the lead up, during the expo and packing up it only seem right to share a few drinks with some wonderful new scrapbooking friends.
It was a very memorable trip to Brisbane and I loved every minute...you never know I just might get the opportunity to teach in Brisbane at the Expo again one day.
